At its center rests a softly faded antique portrait, layered beneath a preserved butterfly wing — and emerging from the edge, a naturally shed and ethically sourced snake head, carefully preserved and set by hand.
The snake was not harmed for this piece. It was sustainably and cruelty-free sourced, then delicately prepared to maintain its natural texture and form. Every element has been composed with intention — blending Victorian mourning art, cabinet-of-curiosities aesthetics, and reverence for the natural world.
